Beyond the Sea
Hi from Catherine, Annette, Maria and Cora in Iris Class.
Since we closed due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, Iris class have been keeping in touch with each other through emails, text and Zoom chats. We are keeping safe and doing lots of hand washing and enjoying hearing how everyone is getting on.
We have enjoyed outdoor sensory PE activities, Yoga movement, outdoor maths trail, animal movement challenge and making different crafts. Lots of songs were shared and nature walks undertaken to find insects and hear the birds singing. Maths and comprehension activities also kept us busy and gave us a challenge.

General
Iris class is a senior class in St Gabriels school. All students have started the new Junior Cycle Programme. We collaborate and work with our senior school friends in Lilac and Violet classes. We enjoy partaking in LILP’s in Visual Arts, Language and Communication, Numeracy, PE and Wellbeing.
We also enjoy outdoor learning activities in the sensory garden and help to plant new seeds and flowers to keep it blooming. Iris class have also enjoyed being involved in fundraising and mini-enterprise activities.
