    Junior Cycle for Teachers (JCT) – Day 2 of training

    The new JCT Level 1 & 2 Learning Programmes are being rolled out to all schools.   To facilitate this, teachers will receive in-service training on them. The teaching staff in St. Gabriel’s  will have their training day on Thursday, 7th November, 2019.   For this reason, St. Gabriel’s will be closed to students on this day, as directed by the Department of Education. This training will have a very positive impact on our school.

    Science Week at school – 10 – 17 Nov.

    Watch out for some cool Science Week events at school from Nov. 10 – 17!  Also some classes are planning to attend the UL science expo around then! #STEM #STEAM!

    School Closure – Training – Primary Language Curriculum

    New Language Curriculum

    The new Primary Language Curriculum is being rolled out to all classes in primary school this year. To facilitate this, every teacher in Ireland will receive in-service training on it. The staff in St. Gabriel’s School will have their training day on Thursday, 14th  November 2019. For this reason, the school will be closed to students on this day, as directed by the Department of Education. This training will have a positive impact on our school.

    Christmas Day – Santa visit to school!

    It is rumoured that Santa and Mrs Claus and an elf or two and some carol singers might come to see us on this day!  Shhhhh!  Fingers crossed!  Hope so…..:)
